VAN - PHI (Approved 3-0)
Too Vancouver :
D Braydon Coburn 85 [ 2 years left @ $4.225M ] 29 years old ( 4 white )
RW Matt Read 84 [ 4 years left @ $3.390M ] 28 years old ( 4 and a half white )
C Vincent Lecavalier 85 [ 4 years left @ $4.225M ] 34 years old ( 4 white )
Too Philadelphia:
D Kevin Bieksa 85 [ 2 years left at $4.600M ] 33 years old ( 4 white )
RW Alexander Burrows 84 [ 2 years left at $4.500M ] 33 years old ( 4 and a half white )
LW Chris Higgins 85 [ 3 years left @ $2.500M ] 31 years old ( 4 and a half white )
I accept this deal cap wise it works , it leaves me with $2.845M and leaves Philly with $1.590M . Burrows days as a Canuck is done he can't find himself on a line up that suits him and I think Philly will suit him way better . Coburn slides in and pairs up with Hamhuis on the first pairing or down with Sbisa the young defensemen . Vinny brings in that veteran leadership and is a proven NHL player who easily fits in the second line centre position under Henrik Sedin . I am in need of centers so this helps me a lot . Read is younger and brings in that sniper attitude on the right side something I will get more from him long term than I would from Burrows . Higgins is a great player what can I say 4 games played already with 7 points . He's a great 2nd liner , Bieksa is a heavy defensemen who plays shut down gritty defense and has a big presence on the back end . A much needed look for Philly as it is for the Canucks .

I agree, I like Higgins for his scoring ability and strong play, I feel he'll bring points to the team. Burrows is a powerful forward I'll need to play RW after sending Read. Read was a littke to weak for my feel of a "Broad Street Bully" and Bieksa is an all around solid defenseman that can play defense very well, he'll keep the net clear of bodies and pucks.
