I accept this trade the direction the Canucks are going is more younger and faster this gives me the salary dump of sister Sedin which is hard right now but will pay off for me in the long run . Vermette is a UFA come off season if I don't re-sign him but that won't be the case as I will likely re-sign Vermette . Nieto and Rask will grow nicely in Vancouver the land of upcoming prospects . Rask will need to battle for a spot on this team in the future with guys like Horvat and Vey ahead of him but we the Canucks believe Rask will be successful in Vancouver . Pelletier is apart of this trade to make the minimum amount of contracts work on both sides .

I accept, i get Sedin for playoffs and a prospect D for future. I know vermette is a beast but he is 32 and i was looking to draft this year a good C either way. Nieto is gonna be really slow to jump and he plays 3rd line for me so getting a much needed top 6 D which can still jump is nice
