Let me take a crack at this one

The current positions of these 1st rounded are as follows

-STL first round pick (currently 1st in our league)
-LA's first round pick (currently 3rd position in the west)
-Pens first round pick (currently 6th position in the east)
-NYI first is round pick (currently 8th in the east)

Considering the following all 1st round picks being sent to habs are in the playoffs. Habs will draft 4 players with a 4 star gold potential. Any players drafted with picks in a playoff position will be AHL players until season 3 and might make his 4th line in season 4. Rick Nash 88 overall is one of the best wingers in GMC. Personally I don't see the value being given to habs unless one or more of these picks were in the mcdavid lottery. Sabres would need to provide more value on his end to receive a yes on this one from me.

No worries after realizing that kings and nyi were not clost to missing playoffs I was beginning to resent my poor decision making.
